The Pradel Award is bestowed upon a police department employee whose performance epitomizes the heart and spirit of a public servant. A recipient of the Pradel Award is one who goes above and beyond the call of duty in the delivery of service to the community, much like the awards namesake, the late retired Police Lieutenant and Mayor A. George Pradel, did as an Officer.
